| Aircraft noise; will it get any worse? |

Aircraft noise is related to the number of ATM's and the size and weight of aircraft. ATMs are increasing and Ryanair in particular are using large aircraft. A runway extension will almost inevitably be paid for with more ATMs and will allow both larger aircraft and existing aircraft to take off with more fuel and more passengers and hence more weight.
